Terms of Use & Telehealth Patient Agreement
Please read these terms carefully before using VirtualVisitRX telehealth services. By submitting a patient intake form or booking a visit, you agree to these terms.

Medical Emergency Disclaimer: VirtualVisitRX is NOT an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency — including chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, or any life-threatening condition — call 911 immediately or go to your nearest emergency room. Do not use this platform for emergency care.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Use and Telehealth Patient Agreement ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VirtualVisitRX ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of our telehealth platform at virtualvisitrx.com and all related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing our website, submitting a patient intake form, booking an appointment, or receiving telehealth services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.
2. Patient Eligibility Requirements
To use VirtualVisitRX telehealth services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be physically located in a U.S. state where our providers are licensed to practice at the time of your consultation
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information on all intake forms and questionnaires
- Not be seeking care for a medical emergency (see emergency disclaimer above)
- Have a valid email address and phone number for clinical communications
- Have access to a device capable of receiving electronic communications
We reserve the right to decline service to any individual who does not meet these eligibility requirements or who provides false or misleading information.
3. Nature of Telehealth Services
VirtualVisitRX provides telehealth consultations for non-emergency medical conditions through licensed healthcare providers. Our services include:
- Urgent care (infections, minor illnesses, rashes, UTIs, and similar conditions)
- STD/STI testing orders, treatment, and PrEP consultations
- Women's health (birth control, UTIs, yeast infections, and related conditions)
- Men's health (ED, hair loss, and related conditions)
- Dermatology (acne, skin conditions, and related concerns)
- Weight loss management including GLP-1 medication consultations
- Hormone therapy — Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) and thyroid optimization
- Lab order and review services
- Handicap parking placard medical certifications
- Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership services
Telehealth Limitations: Telehealth is not appropriate for all medical conditions. Our providers exercise independent clinical judgment and may determine that your condition requires in-person evaluation, a specialist referral, or emergency care. We do not guarantee that a prescription, diagnosis, or specific treatment will result from any consultation.
4. Prescribing Policy & Controlled Substances
Our licensed providers may issue prescriptions when clinically appropriate based on their independent professional judgment. You acknowledge and agree that:
- No prescription is guaranteed. Payment for a consultation does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. Providers will only prescribe medications they determine are medically appropriate for your condition.
- Controlled substances. VirtualVisitRX does not prescribe controlled substances (Schedule II–V drugs as defined by the DEA) through our telehealth platform, except as permitted by applicable federal and Florida state law.
- Compounded medications. For weight loss services, we may prescribe compounded GLP-1 medications (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide) through licensed compounding pharmacies. You acknowledge the risks associated with compounded medications and consent to the GLP-1 Medication Safety Screening completed during intake.
- Accurate medical history required. You must provide complete and accurate medical history, current medications, and allergy information. Providing false information that results in an inappropriate prescription is your sole responsibility.
- Pharmacy fulfillment. We transmit prescriptions to your designated pharmacy. We are not responsible for pharmacy availability, drug shortages, insurance coverage, or the cost of medications.
5. Payment Terms & Refund Policy
VirtualVisitRX operates on a flat-fee, no-insurance model. Current service fees are:

We reserve the right to change service fees at any time. Fees in effect at the time of your consultation apply.
Refund Policy
Appointment Deposits
Deposits paid to secure a scheduled appointment or consultation are non-refundable unless the appointment is cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will forfeit the deposit in full. To cancel, contact us at [email protected] or by phone before the 24-hour window.
Prescription & Medication Fees
All fees associated with prescriptions — including consultation fees where a prescription was issued — are non-refundable once the prescription has been transmitted to the pharmacy. This applies to all medications, including compounded GLP-1 therapies, Vitamin B12, and any other prescribed treatment. Once a prescription is sent, it cannot be recalled or reversed.
Consultation Fees
Consultation fees are non-refundable once a licensed provider has reviewed your intake and initiated a clinical assessment. If a provider determines they cannot treat your condition via telehealth before beginning your assessment, you may be eligible for a full refund — contact us within 24 hours of your visit.
Direct Primary Care (DPC) Membership
DPC membership fees are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued.
Our Commitment to You
While the above terms are our standard policy, we genuinely care about our patients' experience. We will always do our best to accommodate reasonable concerns and work toward a fair resolution on a case-by-case basis. Payments are processed through GoDaddy Payments and Stripe. Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
6. Patient Consents & Acknowledgments
By using our Services, you consent to and acknowledge the following:
Consent to Telehealth Treatment
You consent to receive medical evaluation and treatment via telehealth technology, understanding that telehealth involves the electronic transmission of your health information for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment.
Telemedicine Limitations
You understand that telehealth services may not be as complete as in-person care, that technical failures may interrupt or prevent a consultation, and that your provider may determine that in-person evaluation is necessary.
Accuracy of Information
You certify that all information provided in your intake form — including medical history, current medications, allergies, and symptoms — is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. You understand that providing false information may result in inappropriate medical treatment and is your sole responsibility.
Compounded Medications (Weight Loss Services)
For weight loss services involving GLP-1 medications, you acknowledge the risks associated with compounded medications, confirm completion of the GLP-1 Medication Safety Screening, and consent to receive compounded medications from a licensed compounding pharmacy.
Vitamin B12 Supplementation (Weight Loss Services)
For weight loss services that include Vitamin B12 supplementation, you consent to receive B12 as part of your treatment plan and acknowledge any relevant contraindications disclosed during intake.
Electronic Communications
You consent to receive clinical communications, treatment instructions, and follow-up information via email and/or phone. You are responsible for maintaining a current and accurate email address and phone number.
7. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care
VirtualVisitRX provides telehealth services for non-emergency medical conditions only. Our Services are not designed or intended to replace emergency medical care, 911 services, or hospital emergency departments.
Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately if you experience:
- Chest pain, pressure, or tightness
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Signs of stroke (sudden numbness, confusion, vision changes, severe headache)
- Severe abdominal pain
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Loss of consciousness or altered mental status
- Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
- Any other life-threatening condition
8. Medical Disclaimer & No Doctor-Patient Relationship
The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. A provider-patient relationship is established only upon a licensed provider's acceptance of your case and initiation of a clinical assessment.
VirtualVisitRX does not guarantee specific medical outcomes. Results of telehealth consultations vary based on individual patient circumstances, the accuracy of information provided, and the clinical judgment of our licensed providers.
9. Florida Telehealth Law Compliance
VirtualVisitRX operates in compliance with Florida Statute § 456.47 governing the practice of telehealth in Florida. Our providers are licensed in the states where they provide care. You are responsible for ensuring that telehealth services are permitted in your state of residence at the time of your consultation.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VirtualVisitRX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our Services, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, medical outcomes, lost data, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or incomplete medical information
- Use our Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to obtain prescriptions for medications you do not intend to use for legitimate medical purposes
- Share your account or intake form access with any other person
- Attempt to circumvent our clinical screening processes
- Use our Services if you are not physically located in the United States
- Harass, threaten, or abuse our clinical or administrative staff
We reserve the right to terminate your access to our Services at any time for violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
